The Level 3 Award in Education and Training – AET (Formerly PTTLS) is a nationally recognised qualification for anyone who is currently teaching and training, and those who want to enter this sector and acquire the relevant qualification that will allow them to take on the role of a teacher or trainer.

The Level 3 Award in Education and Training course meets Industry standards and will help you gain a clear understanding of the roles and responsibilities of the teacher and trainer, the boundaries set in relation to teaching and how to deliver motivational class sessions to inspire students.

The qualification will make you a certified teacher or trainer and equip you with the skills and knowledge to understand the role of teaching. You will also learn how to use different assessment methods to achieve your full potential in your career development.

You can complete this qualification in approximately 48 hours and will be required to participate in an hour of microteaching activities and undertake at least 15 minutes observed microteaching delivery. You will also be required to complete a number of written assignments.
