Microdermabrasion (Level 3)

Prospective students are responsible for confirming with their own insurance provider(s) that this qualification meets their requirements prior to enrolment, as no refunds will be issued in the event that it is later found not to be accepted by their insurer. 

Learners must hold a Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Therapy or equivalent facial qualification as a minimum, to be accepted on this course.

This course is about providing microdermabrasion treatments to improve the appearance and condition of the skin on the face and body. To carry out this unit you will need to maintain effective health, safety and hygiene procedures throughout your work. 

You will cover phtsiology of ageing, relevant health & safety, contra-indications, use of diamond tip microdermabrasion, possible contra-actions and aftercare advice.

An Akila Academy certificate and transcript of content will be presented upon successful completion of the course.
